iQOO has announced that it will be releasing its new flagship smartphone, the iQOO 13, at the end of October. The device is already available for pre-order on e-commerce platforms. While the official launch date hasn't been unveiled, digital blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that the iQOO 13 will be unveiled on October 30th, alongside the Honor Magic7 series.

One of the standout features of the iQOO 13 is that it is the first smartphone globally to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a 2K straight screen. The device is fitted with a BOE Q10 luminous material screen, boasting a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It comes with a plethora of upgrades, including a 12.5% increase in global peak brightness, a reduction in color deviation by over 50%, a 33% increase in lifespan, a 15% reduction in ghosting, and a 10% decrease in power consumption. iQOO product manager Ge Lan V stated that the iQOO 13 screen is considered the pinnacle of screen technology in 2024, marking the first achievement of iQOO's "Mount Everest Plan." This plan aims to invest one billion yuan over the next three years to reach the summit of screen technology.

Apart from the screen, the iQOO 13 has also been upgraded in industrial design. It continues the "Wanli Porthole" lens DECO design from its predecessor, the iQOO 12, and incorporates a new light effect, integrating seamlessly with the camera module. This design pays homage to the MonsterHalo light effect found on the original iQOO, promising to deliver an even more dazzling visual experience for users.
