On October 14th, vivo officially launched its annual flagship, the X200 series, at the Water Cube in Beijing. This series includes three models: vivo X200, vivo X200 Pro, and vivo X200 Pro mini. As a benchmark for vivo's flagship devices, the X200 series boasts numerous highlights, with the most attention-grabbing being the global debut of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip platform. Combined with vivo's self-developed V3+ imaging chip, 6000mAh Blue Ocean battery, micro-curved screen, and the brand-new OriginOS5, the X200 series has emerged as a truly all-around flagship in terms of performance, battery life, and AI experience.
Peak Performance, Enhanced Energy Efficiency
The previous generation vivo X100 series, powered by the all-large-core Dimensity 9300, already reigned supreme in performance. This time, MediaTek and vivo collaborated to introduce the Dimensity 9400, featuring the "second-generation all-large-core" architecture. This chip boasts one Cortex-X925 super-large core, 3 Cortex-X4 super-large cores, and 4 Cortex-A7 series (A720) large cores.
Benchmark results reveal that the vivo X200 series, powered by the Dimensity 9400, achieved an AnTuTu score of 2.82 million, easily placing it in a league of its own among smartphones. This score represents a more than 30% improvement compared to the previous generation's score of 2.2 million. In daily performance-intensive gaming scenarios, under a room temperature of 25, the X200 series ran "Peace Elite" (highest frame rate, HDR) and "Genshin Impact" (highest frame rate and graphics settings) for approximately 30 minutes.
