The Microsoft website recently updated its list of devices that support the "Phone Link" app experience, with the Xiaomi 14T series being the latest addition. The Xiaomi 14T series was released in September this year and includes two models, the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro.
Both phones feature a 6.67-inch 144Hz display with a brightness boost to 4000 nits. They also boast triple cameras, a 5000mAh battery, and Dimensity processors (Pro model with Dimensity 9300+, standard version with Dimensity 8300Ultra).
"Phone Link" is an app developed by Microsoft to connect Android/iOS and Windows devices. Users can use this app to view their phone screen directly on their Windows 10/11 PC, access photos, send text messages, and make phone calls.
In May this year, Microsoft released Windows 11 Build 26227 preview update for Windows Insider members on the Canary channel. This update included a preview version of "Phone Link" with a new AI-powered "Suggested Replies" feature. Additionally, the preview version of "Phone Link" launched an OCR feature that allows users to open the "Photos" submenu and then choose text within a photo to copy.
Currently, Samsung, Honor, OPPO, and vivo phones already support Microsoft Phone Link connectivity. Xiaomi now becomes the fourth domestic manufacturer to support the service. With the addition of the Xiaomi 14T series, users can now enjoy the convenient cross-device interaction features of "Phone Link" for improved work and life efficiency.
