On the evening of October 14th, the vivo X200 series flagship phones were officially launched at the Water Cube. As vivo's annual flagship phones and the first in the industry to feature the Dimensity 9400 flagship chip, the three new models in the vivo X200 series: vivo X200, vivo X200 Pro, and vivo X200 Promini, undoubtedly became the focus of the mobile phone industry. Among them, the vivo X200 Promini made a grand finale appearance as an "onemorething", being the first mini product in the vivo X series and the only Pro-level small straight-screen phone in the Android market. The vivo X200 Promini has attracted the attention of many consumers.

After the press conference, IT Home got this new phone for the first time and shared a simple hands-on experience. We discovered that consumers have a very high demand for small-screen phones. In the Android camp, phones with 6.3-inch screens can be called small-screen phones. However, these small-screen phones often have slightly downgraded configurations in the past, such as not having a large-capacity battery or generally lacking periscope telephoto imaging. The vivo X200 Promini features a 6.31-inch flat small straight screen with extremely narrow bezels. The body thickness is only 8.15mm, and the weight is only 187g. The grip feels very similar to the iPhone Pro, and it can be easily controlled with one hand. Users accustomed to 6.7-inch large-screen phones will feel a sense of nostalgic familiarity when holding the vivo X200 Promini. When I saw the promotional images, I thought it would be a very "dopamine" color, but in terms of actual appearance, the Titanium Blue of the vivo X200 Promini is much more "stable", a desaturated bluish-green, healing and soothing.

In terms of craftsmanship and design, the back cover of the vivo X200 Promini uses AG glass with a frosted texture, but there is a layer of coating on the surface, making the feel somewhere between frosted glass and glossy glass, even more delicate than traditional AG glass, but it will leave a little bit of fingerprint marks.

The design of the vivo X200 Promini's camera module is also quite outstanding. It uses a matte aluminum alloy material, and the decorative ring (DECO) around the camera module is designed with concentric circular textures. These textures add visual layering and cleverly recess inwards, paying homage to the appearance of professional camera lenses.

The midframe of the vivo X200 Promini is full of "fruity" design, with a texture very similar to the iPhone mini. In terms of small details, the upper and middle frames of the vivo X200 Promini have no openings, and the buttons are all located on the upper right side of the midframe. The overall design of the metal midframe is very simple and restrained.

Going back to the front, the vivo X200 Promini uses a flat screen, unlike the standard and Pro versions that have a symmetrical four-curved screen. The bezels on the top and sides are very narrow, the chin is slightly wider, but unless you stare at it deliberately, it basically achieves visually "equal width" on all four sides.
