At the BOE's Flexible OLED flagship product launch event this afternoon, the OnePlus 13 officially announced its global debut of the second-generation 2K BOE display, featuring a self-developed screen chip P2 and the first-ever support for Android's "Solar Display" technology.

The second-generation BOE display on the OnePlus 13 is said to be the world's first DisplayMate A++ rated screen, setting new records in color accuracy, Gamma, white point accuracy, brightness, maximum color gamut, contrast, and viewing angles. The screen uses an exclusive custom X2 emissive material, improving visual color by 25%, enhancing color display accuracy by 25%, and reducing power consumption by 10%.

Importantly, the OnePlus 13 also boasts a self-developed screen chip P2, leading to an average 26% improvement in brightness uniformity, a 42% increase in color uniformity, and a 10% reduction in ghosting.

The second-generation BOE display also marks the global premiere of Android's sole "Solar Display" technology, designed to adapt to outdoor environments and boasts a "significant enhancement in outdoor visibility."

In terms of eye protection, the second-generation BOE display has received the new Rheinland Intelligent Eye Protection 4.0 certification, offering Bright Eyes Protection 2.0, full-brightness DC dimming, Bright Eyes Low-frequency Flicker 2.0, and support for LTPO low-brightness SVM.

Further, the OnePlus 13's second-generation BOE display supports 8TLTPO screen circuit technology, enabling adaptive high refresh rates and zonal adaptive refresh rates.
