On the evening of October 14th, the vivo X200 series flagship smartphones were officially released. This highly anticipated domestic flagship model is vivo's latest effort to fully enter the high-end market. It integrates vivo's four core technologies, including Blue Crystal Chip Technology, Blue Ocean Battery System, vivo BlueMind Large Model, and Blue River Operating System, aiming to provide users with a "super-powerful" flagship experience.

At the launch event, vivo and Arm jointly established a joint laboratory, and together with MediaTek, they co-defined the second generation of All-Core 3nm Dimensity 9400 from the ground up, further enhancing product performance. The vivo X200 series is the first to feature the Dimensity 9400 flagship chip, and this product, deeply integrated with Blue Crystal Technology, propels the vivo X200 series to new heights.

The Dimensity 9400 is the first mobile chip in the Android camp to adopt TSMC's second-generation 3nm process, making the vivo X200 series the first Android flagship phone globally to utilize a 3nm process chip. Looking back to last November, MediaTek introduced the Dimensity 9300 platform, whose innovative All-Core CPU architecture design marked the beginning of the All-Core era. The vivo X100 series, equipped with the Dimensity 9300 and positioned as an imaging flagship device, even outperformed numerous Snapdragon 8 Gen flagship phones in Antutu benchmark scores in November of that year. The extreme performance of the All-Core architecture was once again fully demonstrated.

A year later, vivo and MediaTek have joined forces again to launch the second-generation All-Core 3nm Dimensity 9400 chip, officially leading the industry into the second generation of the All-Core era. As MediaTek Dimensity's 5th anniversary offering, the Dimensity 9400 chip utilizes TSMC's second-generation 3nm process and integrates a staggering 29.1 billion transistors, the highest in the industry today.

In terms of core architecture, the Dimensity 9400 employs the second-generation All-Core CPU architecture, including a super-core Cortex-X925 with a clock speed of up to 3.62GHz, three Cortex-X4 super-cores, and four Cortex-A720 large cores. The flagship 12-core GPU G925 delivers a powerful performance boost while significantly reducing power consumption, creating an exceptional gaming experience for users. Moreover, the L2 cache of the Dimensity 9400 is doubled, and the L3 cache is increased by 50%. The chip architecture's IPC has also been improved by 15%, so even without significantly increasing the clock speed, the Dimensity 9400 achieves a generational leap in performance.

Thanks to its advanced second-generation All-Core architecture design, the Dimensity 9400 platform's CPU single-core performance has improved by 35% compared to the previous generation Dimensity 9300, with multi-core performance boosted by 28%. At the same time, power consumption is reduced by 40% at the same performance level. The Dimensity 9400 chip, with its outstanding performance, stands out in the industry, providing a powerful foundation for the vivo X200 series.
