It is reported that the series will make its debut at the "Native HarmonyOS Night and Huawei All-Scenario New Product Launch Conference" held at 7:00 PM on October 22nd, offering two models: nova13 and nova13 Pro. Although the native HarmonyOS will be unveiled at the launch event, the Mate70 series, which is also set to launch soon, is expected to be the first to feature the new system. The nova13 series will likely continue with the previous HarmonyOS.

Huawei has already released some design details. The nova13 series maintains the exquisite design tradition of the nova series, with excellent thickness control. The lens area features a unique design, with the nova13 Pro adopting a symmetrical long oval shape, while the nova13 opts for a step-like design. In terms of color options, it will offer Feather Sand Purple, Lodden Green, Feather Sand White, and Starry Black. Notably, the official has not announced the nova series' signature 13th color theme.
