In an email sent to customers, Qualcomm stated: "The Windows Snapdragon Developer Kit has not fully met our established standards of excellence. As a result, we regret to inform you that we have made the decision to indefinitely discontinue the product and its support." Qualcomm has not offered a detailed explanation for the sudden cancellation of the product. According to media reports, approximately 200 users have already received the product and will be given full refunds without the need to return the device.

The "Windows Snapdragon Developer Kit" measures 199x175x35mm and weighs 970g. It is equipped with a fully loaded Snapdragon XElite (X1E-00-1DE), featuring 12 cores with a peak frequency of 3.8GHz across all cores and 4.3GHz for dual cores, a total cache of 42MB, and a thermal design power of 80W, paired with an 180W power adapter. Additionally, the product boasts 32GB LPDDR5X memory, 512GB NVMe SSD, support for Wi-Fi7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connections, and interfaces including an HDMI, three USB4, two USB-A3.2, an RJ-45, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
