As the second half of the year unfolds, competition in the smartphone market intensifies. Manufacturers are aggressively launching new devices, striving to secure their place in performance, design, and user experience. Honor, not to be outdone, is about to unveil the Magic7 series, aiming to stand out in the fierce competition.

Recently, leaks about the Honor Magic7 series have been surfacing, revealing upgrades in screen, color options, performance, imaging, unlocking, and more. It's reported that the Honor Magic7 standard version will be available in five colors: gold, white, black, blue, and gray, with large storage options of 512GB and 1TB, catering to diverse consumer preferences for aesthetics and storage capacity. The Magic7 Pro will be relatively simpler, offered in four colors: white, black, blue, and gray, with storage options including 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

Notably, the Honor Magic7 series has undergone comprehensive upgrades in aspects like eye protection, image algorithms, and unlocking solutions. Leaks suggest the series will adopt a more advanced eye protection technology, potentially reaching 3840Hz PWM dimming. The screen itself will feature a gently curved design with a 1.5K resolution and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the Honor Magic7 series will enhance the 3D facial and fingerprint unlocking solutions, further improving the user unlocking experience.

In terms of imaging, the Honor Magic7 series integrates a billion-level periscope imaging algorithm, achieving significant improvements in imaging performance. The Honor Magic7 standard version adopts a triple-camera combination of 50Mp+50Mp+50Mp, with the main camera utilizing the OmniVision OV50H sensor and the periscope telephoto using the Sony IMX882 sensor. Meanwhile, the Honor Magic7 Pro version will feature a larger-sized main camera lens, expected to employ the OV50K lens sensor. Furthermore, the Honor Magic7 series will come standard with self-developed image architecture and integrate Yaogu 2.0, further enhancing the photography experience.

In terms of core configuration, the Honor Magic7 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, coupled with TurboX technology, resulting in exceptional performance. Battery capacity is expected to exceed 5800mAh, with support for faster charging speeds. Additionally, features like full-function NFC, infrared remote control, dual speakers, and linear X-axis motor will be retained in the new phones.

On the operating system front, the Honor Magic7 series will run on MagicOS 9.0. The new AIAgent intelligent agent is one of the core features of MagicOS 9.0, capable of autonomously perceiving the environment, understanding user needs, and executing corresponding tasks or providing suggestions. Moreover, MagicOS 9.0 will introduce AI-driven frame generation technology to enhance the gaming visual experience.
