Notably, the last Redmi model to support wireless charging was the K60 series. The K70 series dropped wireless charging and instead upgraded its wired fast charging to 120W. This return to wireless charging undoubtedly elevates the user experience of the K80 series, especially for those who rely on wireless charging.

Apart from wireless charging, the Redmi K80 series will also feature a new generation of silicon-carbon anode batteries with a capacity of 6000mAh, significantly enhancing the battery's energy density and allowing for a larger battery capacity within the same weight. The same blogger revealed that this device will feature a customized high-refresh-rate LCD screen around 8.X inches, powered by a contemporary flagship chip, potentially either the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 or a Snapdragon 8 series processor. Previously, there were reports that the Redmi gaming tablet would have a Snapdragon 8 series chip, suggesting that it would outperform the larger tablet in chip performance. However, based on the information from this blogger, the processor could also be the MediaTek Dimensity 9400. In other words, the core configuration information for this tablet remains uncertain and might be revealed upon its official launch.
