The "Lunar Grey" colorway of the Honor Magic7 series phones was officially unveiled today. The company claims the colorway "pays tribute to dreams and courage, exploring the unknown and romance." Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd., released a Q&A interview video today, revealing some information about the new device.
In the interview, Zhao Ming responded to questions about the design philosophy, screen choice, and fingerprint unlocking solution for the Honor Magic7 series. When asked about the design philosophy, Zhao Ming said, "We will also release 'Dawn Gold' later." Regarding the pros and cons of straight-screen and curved-screen displays, he believes that "the curved screen offers a great grip, while the straight screen delivers a smoother operation experience. The Honor Magic7 series will retain both."
Regarding whether the standard version of the phone will feature a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking solution, Zhao Ming piqued user curiosity with the response, "You'll know soon."
Previous promotional information suggests that the Honor Magic7 series phones will feature a physically variable aperture main camera lens and ditch the "100X" logo design. The "Lunar Grey" colorway of the new device features a "flow-like" textured pattern on the back cover, while the centrally aligned symmetrical camera module design is also quite eye-catching.
