At the Snapdragon Summit held today, Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Gaming, the most powerful and fastest mobile platform to date. As the first phone to feature this chip, the ROG Phone 9 was also officially unveiled and announced to launch in November.
ASUS Co-CEO, Hsu Sian-Shyong, stated that the ROG Phone 9, equipped with the exceptional Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Gaming, integrates innovative endpoint-side generative AI and gaming capabilities, delivering a revolutionary experience for consumers. Thanks to Qualcomm's self-developed Oryon architecture CPU, the new Adreno GPU, and the enhanced Hexagon NPU, the ROG Phone 9 will be the most powerful flagship gaming phone currently available.
From the real device shown at the event, the ROG Phone 9 will be available in at least black and white color options. The rear camera module adopts a five-sided stepped design, consisting of three lenses and a flash.
