With the launch of the vivo X200 series, industry insiders speculated about the potential changes in the domestic smartphone market share ranking last week. After all, from late September onwards, vivo had lost its position as the top brand in the domestic market for several consecutive weeks, while Apple and Huawei performed exceptionally well. Now, the highly anticipated data for last week has finally been released on October 25th, provided by industry insider "Wisdom Chip Insider." According to their data, the ranking for W42 (10.14-10.20) is as follows:
Champion: Apple, with a market share of 19.95%. This marks Apple's second consecutive week at the top of the domestic market, although its share has declined slightly compared to the previous week.
Runner-up: Huawei Group, with a market share of 18.84%. This includes Huawei with 16.59% and Huawei Smart Selection with 2.25%.
Third Place: vivo, with a total share of 17.76%. This includes vivo with 13.54% and iQOO with 4.23%.
Fourth: Xiaomi, with a total share of 15.70%.
Fifth: Honor, with a market share of 12.04%.
Sixth: OPPO Group, with a total share of 11.72%. This includes OPPO with 9.77%, OnePlus with 0.83%, and realme with 1.12%.
This week was supposed to be the perfect opportunity for vivo to reclaim the top spot as the vivo X200 series officially launched and went on sale on October 19th. Although this new phone received positive market reception, it ultimately failed to retake the crown, indicating that the iPhone 16 series and Huawei continue to perform exceptionally well. Nevertheless, vivo's performance deserves recognition, as based on typical rankings, they should have placed second, only behind Apple.
Going forward, the vivo X200 series will face even greater pressure as competitors are releasing new products. For example, the OPPO Find X8 series has already been officially released, with a starting price even lower than the vivo X200 series. On October 29th, the Xiaomi 15 series will also be officially launched.
However, the brand that needs to step up its efforts the most is OPPO. For several consecutive weeks, they have held sixth place, ranking last among mainstream brands, even including the shares of OnePlus and realme. If we exclude realme's share, OPPO's market share will be even more dismal. The gap with other brands is widening.
