OPPO Find N5 Engineering Prototype Revealed: Continues Previous Design, Equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ Processor
Blogger @DigitalChatStation revealed today that the OPPO Find N5 engineering prototype has entered the research and development stage. The overall design continues from the previous generation, with a slightly larger screen size. The device features a large circular camera module centered on the back, equipped with a 50Mp main camera with Hasselblad Master Imaging System large sensor + 50Mp + 50Mp 3X periscope telephoto lens combination. Additionally, the engineering prototype has a battery capacity of 2460 + 3105 = 5565/5700 mAh, supports wireless charging, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor. It also features a custom C type port, aiming for ultimate thinness.
Combined with discussions in the comment section and information like "Hasselblad Master Imaging System," it is speculated that this engineering prototype is likely the OPPO Find N5. Previously, IT Home reported that the OPPO Find X8 Ultra flagship phone and Find N5 foldable phone will be launched in the first quarter of next year. Among them, the N5 was previously reported to feature a quad-camera design during testing. However, the latest engineering prototype has switched back to the three-camera configuration from the previous generation.
This leaked information indicates that the OPPO Find N5 will upgrade on the foundation of its predecessor's design, incorporating the latest hardware configurations. For example, the Hasselblad Master Imaging System large sensor main camera and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor will further enhance the phone's imaging and performance. Meanwhile, the concept of ultimate thinness showcases OPPO's pursuit of design excellence in foldable phones.
Based on current information, the OPPO Find N5 is expected to launch in the first quarter of next year, bringing a more refined foldable screen experience.
