Following the launch of its new chapter in smartphones with the HMDSkyline in July, HMD is set to unveil a new device - the HMDSage. Recently, renderings of this upcoming phone have surfaced, showcasing a continuation of the iconic Lumia design aesthetic.
From the renderings, the HMDSage's rear design appears very similar to the Skyline - both featuring a circular glass backplate and a polycarbonate frame encasing the rear. A rectangular camera island houses a dual camera system, with the HMD branding at the center, presenting a clean and refined look.
According to the X user @smashx_60, the HMDSage will boast a 6.55-inch OLED (FHD+ 90Hz) display, powered by Unisoc T760 chipset. It will also feature a dual 50MP camera system, hinting at impressive photographic capabilities. Further, the phone is expected to support 33W fast charging, NFC, a headphone jack, and an IP52 water resistance rating, catering to everyday user needs.
The advent of the HMDSage signals HMD's continued focus on the mid-range market, aiming to capture a larger audience with more value-driven offerings. With its striking design and compelling specifications, the HMDSage promises to make a mark in the market. Let's wait and see how it performs.
