At tonight's Xiaomi launch event, Lei Jun officially unveiled the high-performance version of the Xiaomi SU7 - the SU7 Ultra, defining it as a legal race car on the road. This performance monster is powered by Xiaomi's most powerful V8s super motor, capable of reaching a maximum RPM of 27,200 and outputting a maximum horsepower of 1,548, giving it incredible acceleration.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra's acceleration can be described as terrifying: It takes only 1.98 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, 5.86 seconds to reach 200 km/h, and 9.23 seconds to cover 400 meters. Its top design speed is 350 km/h. These figures are enough to leave many conventional sports cars in the dust.
In addition to its incredibly powerful acceleration, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra doesn't compromise on braking. It features carbon ceramic brake discs, with a maximum operating temperature exceeding 1,300 degrees Celsius and a lifespan exceeding 500,000 km, while also reducing the overall vehicle weight by 57 kg. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra also utilizes Akebono high-performance brake calipers with six at the front and four at the rear, resulting in a 100-0 km/h braking distance of only 30.8 meters and achieving outstanding performance by allowing for 10 consecutive 180-0 km/h braking without degradation. Furthermore, the motor regenerative braking system provides a maximum deceleration of 0.6G and a power output exceeding 400 kW, further enhancing braking efficiency.
