According to TheInformation, Apple is collaborating with a factory in India to conduct tests that involve transforming iPhone 17 prototypes into mass-producible devices. Though the base model is less complex than the Pro version, this still marks the first time that part of the manufacturing design for an iPhone has been developed outside of China.
