Xiaomi Interconnected Services Not Working? Wang Hua: Requires New System and HyperConnect Service Upgrade
Wang Hua, General Manager of Xiaomi's Public Relations Department, responded today to user issues with Xiaomi Interconnected Services, explaining it's due to new system features. He stated users need to upgrade their Xiaomi phones to the latest system version and also upgrade the new HyperConnect cross-platform smart connection service to use Xiaomi Interconnected Services.
Yesterday, IT Home reported that at the launch of the Xiaomi 15 series and Xiaomi Pengpai OS2, Jin Fan announced that Xiaomi HyperConnect fully supports Apple's ecosystem. Users can install "Xiaomi Interconnected Services" to share files and images. The service also supports other features, such as:
- Xiaomi phones can directly view iWork office documents.
- Mac supports using AirPlay Desktop and can display a mirrored image of the Xiaomi phone.
- Xiaomi HyperConnect also supports features like picture-in-picture on televisions, and cross-device clipboard 2.0.
The "Xiaomi Interconnected Services" app was listed on the Apple AppStore this month. The store page shows that the app supports mutual discovery and file transfer between Xiaomi phones and Apple devices with the same account.
Wang Hua's response indicates that Xiaomi Interconnected Services is designed based on new system features and the HyperConnect cross-platform smart connection service, thus requiring users to upgrade to use them. This also shows Xiaomi is actively pushing for cross-platform connectivity, aiming to provide users with a more convenient and richer experience.
The launch of Xiaomi Interconnected Services marks significant progress in Xiaomi's cross-platform ecosystem integration. By supporting Apple's ecosystem, Xiaomi breaks down barriers between operating systems, providing users with a more free and convenient cross-device connectivity experience.
In the future, Xiaomi will continue to improve the HyperConnect cross-platform smart connection service and continuously expand its functionality to provide users with a more convenient and efficient interconnected experience.
