According to Wang Teng, Redmi holds a remarkable 70% market share in domestic 2K screen phone shipments over the past three years. Xiaomi + Redmi combined share reaches 90%. To put it simply, for every 10 phones with 2K screens sold in the domestic market, seven are from Redmi, and nine are from Xiaomi.
This outcome can be primarily attributed to Redmi's relentless efforts in popularizing 2K screens over the past three years, particularly with their Redmi K series.
