The choice of chips for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series has been a focus of attention. Previous reports suggested that Samsung would be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 across the entire series. However, the latest Geekbench scores seem to indicate that Samsung hasn't abandoned the Exynos 2500 chip and has equipped it on the Galaxy S25+ phone.

This Galaxy S25+ phone, model number SM-S936B, is intended for the European market. Information from the Geekbench 6 platform shows that the device is equipped with the Exynos 2500 chip, model number S5E9955, featuring a 10-core CPU with a maximum frequency of 3.3GHz. Additionally, the Exynos 2500 employs the Xclipse 950 GPU based on AMD RDNA architecture, comes with 12GB of RAM, and runs on Android 15.

The benchmark results show that the Exynos 2500 scores 2359 in single-core and 8141 in multi-core. Compared to the other two flagship processors in the Android camp, the Exynos 2500 exhibits weaker single-core performance, while its multi-core performance barely keeps up.
