OPPO ColorOS 15 Beta Recruitment Begins: Experience the New System Even on Older Devices!
In today's fiercely competitive mobile market, phone manufacturers are constantly releasing new models and rapidly iterating their operating systems to meet user demands. Recently, OPPO has officially launched the ColorOS 15 beta recruitment campaign, covering multiple older device models, allowing users to experience the new features and improvements brought by the new system ahead of time.
The participating models for this beta recruitment campaign include the OPPO Pad 2, OPPO Find X6 Pro, OPPO Find X6, OnePlus 11, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, and OnePlus Ace 2. Successful applicants will receive both the log and nolog versions of ColorOS 15 at different times. To ensure the smooth operation of the beta program, OPPO has set specific baseline version requirements for participating models:
- OPPO Pad 2: Requires an upgrade to version 14.0.0.630
- OPPO Find X6 Pro: Requires an upgrade to version 14.0.0.850 or 14.0.0.840
- OPPO Find X6: Requires an upgrade to version 14.0.0.830 or 14.0.0.850

It is important to note that the OnePlus Ace 2 Genshin Impact Edition is not included in this beta recruitment. Unlocked/rooted devices are also unable to upgrade. Please patiently wait for future version updates.
Despite the fact that most participating models are older devices, their core configurations remain powerful. For instance, the OPPO Find X6 boasts an octa-core Dimensity 9200 processor, a front-facing AMOLED full-screen display with high refresh rate, a 32MP front-facing camera and a rear triple-camera system featuring a 50MP wide-angle main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP ultra-sensitive periscope telephoto lens. Combined with 80W flash charging and a 4800mAh battery, its user experience is undeniable.
ColorOS 15 itself also has numerous advantages. In terms of fluidity, it employs new underlying optimization technology and incorporates a smart memory management mechanism. Rigorous testing and verification have ensured system stability. Furthermore, ColorOS 15 introduces a wealth of innovative features, such as the all-new smart assistant function that significantly enhances intelligence. The system also supports multi-screen collaboration functionality, creating a more comprehensive ecosystem.
Visually, ColorOS 15 incorporates fresh design elements, including themes, wallpapers, fonts, and more, allowing users to customize their interface to their preferences. Concurrently, the system's underlying foundation is upgraded from Android 14 to Android 15, bringing the benefits of the new foundation to older devices.
It's worth mentioning that ColorOS 15's update pace is rapid, with noticeable changes every month. Therefore, for users who sign up for beta testing, if they prefer not to be on the cutting edge, they can patiently await the official release, which is expected to arrive soon.
