It is understood that Redmi will simultaneously release both the K80 standard version and K80 Pro models, while the previously anticipated K80E version will not be released.

The Redmi K80 Pro will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor. This chip was previously used in the Xiaomi 13 series, employing TSMC's second-generation 3nm process and featuring Qualcomm's self-developed Oryon CPU, demonstrating exceptional performance and power efficiency.

In terms of CPU architecture, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy features two 4.32GHz super cores and six 3.53GHz performance cores, accompanied by 12MB of L2 cache. According to official Qualcomm data, the single-core and multi-core performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy has increased by 45% compared to the third-generation product, and the upgraded NPU inference speed has also increased by 45%, with a 45% improvement in performance per watt.
