Xiaomi 15 Ultra Rendered Image Leaked: Imaging System Upgraded, Ultra-Premium Imaging Battle Rekindled!
Last month, Xiaomi officially launched the Xiaomi 15 series. Thanks to its excellent feel and impressive performance release, it achieved impressive sales figures during the just concluded "Double 11" shopping festival. While various manufacturers are gearing up to release their mid-range and "Ultra-Flagship" models, the rendered images of Xiaomi's "Ultra-Flagship" model - the Xiaomi 15 Ultra - have been leaked.
Blogger TECHHOME released rendered images of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. From the front, the device adopts a similar single-hole four-curved design as its predecessor, with a straight-edge frame. The overall design of the back hasn't changed much, with the module still having a slight protrusion, but the internal design of the module has changed significantly. A periscope lens is positioned on the upper right side, while three lenses are arranged horizontally below, departing from the previous symmetric design of four lenses in four corners.
In response, blogger @DigitalChatStation confirmed the accuracy of the leaked lens arrangement, highlighting that the periscope lens is larger than previously reported, the large circular Deco is slightly thinner than the previous generation, and the co-branded logo is vertically arranged, with only one set of flash. Current prototypes lack leather, with black and red color schemes and white looking quite good. The front features a standard large-sized 2K deep four-curved screen, without a dedicated camera button.
Moreover, according to related media reports, a schematic diagram of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has surfaced on Qualcomm's platform. Combining this with previous leaks, the 5x periscope telephoto lens on the upper right boasts 20MP and utilizes a 1/1.4" Samsung S5KHP9 sensor. The bottom left lens is the main camera, featuring 50MP and using a 1" Sony LYT900 sensor. The middle lens below is a 3x upright telephoto lens, also with 50MP and a 1/2.5" Sony IMX858 sensor. The lens on the far right is an ultra-wide-angle lens, equipped with 50MP and a 1/2.75" Samsung S5KJN5 sensor.
Further down the schematic diagram, we can see the coil, indicating that the new device is expected to support wireless charging. Additionally, according to previous leaks, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is likely to introduce a professional imaging package. Referring to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra's professional imaging package, which houses a 1500mAh battery, a professional photography handle with Type-C direct connection, adding a recording button and a customizable dial, this new package's features are expected to be only enhanced.
Earlier, a Xiaomi device codenamed "xuanyuan" appeared in the MiCode, revealing some imaging specifications. This device is the new generation Xiaomi 15 Ultra. According to the information displayed in the code, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is equipped with a complete four-camera system, encompassing a super-high-resolution main camera, multi-functional telephoto lens, ultra-wide-angle lens, and other components. Among them, the 50MP Sony 1-inch LYT900 sensor main camera delivers clarity and precision almost reaching the level of a DSLR.
In terms of core specifications, the new Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor. Leveraging its powerful performance, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will deliver high-performance camera support without lag or overheating. For the display panel, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will upgrade to a 2K resolution panel, providing a top-notch AMOLED display.
While this leaked arrangement has been verified by multiple bloggers, it's still in the rumor stage, and we will need to wait for official confirmation. Looking at the configuration, the pixel count remains relatively conservative, with the primary improvement lying in image quality.
A series of leaks surrounding other "Ultra-Flagship" models will follow, and their release is expected before the Chinese New Year. The new round of "Ultra-Flagship" imaging battles has officially begun. Interested individuals can stay tuned for further updates.
