Post-Double 11, Smartphone Market Landscape Sees a Shift: Xiaomi Takes the Lead, Huawei Mate 70 Series Poised to Enter the Arena
Many eagerly await the data released by industry insiders in their "Smart Chip Guide" every Friday, as it showcases the weekly sales changes of major smartphone brands based on domestic activation figures. This week was particularly noteworthy as it followed the Double 11 shopping festival. As usual, the data was released on schedule. According to the data, the domestic activation rankings for Week 45 (November 4th to 10th) are as follows:
Champion: Xiaomi, 18.57% market share;
Runner-up: Huawei Group, 18.49% overall share, with Huawei accounting for 16.83% and Huawei Smart Selection for 1.66%;
Third Place: Apple, 17.50% market share;
Fourth: Vivo, 14.79% overall share, with Vivo accounting for 9.87% and iQOO for 4.92%;
Fifth: Honor, 14.59% market share;
Sixth: OPPO, 12.80% market share, with OPPO accounting for 9.72%, OnePlus for 1.84%, and Realme for 1.23%.
It's important to note that these rankings are not standard. The Huawei Group includes Huawei Smart Selection, and the OPPO Group includes Realme. If based on a regular ranking, Huawei and Apple would switch places, while the rankings of other brands remain unchanged.
Regarding the ranking, industry insiders commented that while changes occurred, the top three brands remained the same as the previous week. Only the bottom three saw changes, with Vivo and Honor showing improvement, while OPPO slipped to sixth place.
Xiaomi's consecutive wins are attributed to the strong sales of the Xiaomi 15 series and the outstanding performance of the Redmi K70 Supreme Edition during the Double 11 period. This product dominated the Android market with no rivals. The combined strength of both propelled Xiaomi's overall market share.
The coming period will be a true test of each brand's strength. Besides Huawei, all five major brands have launched their annual flagship models, which have now entered the regular sales phase after their initial release period. This will be a real test of their brand influence and product strength. However, the rankings at the end of the month could see significant changes as the Huawei Mate 70 series is set to launch.
