Korean media outlet SEDaily analyzes that considering the time needed for chip packaging and testing, as well as smartphone assembly, the goal of this Exynos 2500 mass production is likely geared towards the Galaxy Z Flip7, a flagship "small foldable" model scheduled for release in the second half of next year. Prior reports have indicated that the Galaxy S25 series, slated for release early next year, and the Galaxy Z Flip FE, a lower-priced "small foldable" expected in April, will not feature the Exynos 2500 processor.

Sources reveal that Samsung Electronics' MX division has acknowledged the performance of the Exynos 2500 and placed an order with the DS division. The mass production of the Exynos 2500 not only enhances the maturity of Samsung Electronics' Foundry division's GAA process, but also lays the foundation for the development of its next-generation "Tatiss" chip based on 2nm technology.

As Samsung's next-generation flagship chip, the Exynos 2500 is fabricated using a 3nm GAA process, anticipated to deliver enhanced performance and reduced power consumption. Additionally, the chip will provide support for the latest LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage, incorporating a 5G modem for a more powerful user experience.

It's noteworthy that Samsung has actively strived to enhance the competitiveness of its Exynos processors in recent years, integrating them into flagship smartphones. The mass production of the Exynos 2500 signals Samsung's continued commitment to advancing in the high-performance mobile processor arena, delivering a robust mobile experience for users.
