Nothing officially announced a new product launch event on March 4th, 2025, unveiling the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (3a) series. As the launch date approaches, more details have emerged. Promotional images reveal a dedicated function button, whose purpose remains unclear but is speculated to activate AI voice assistants or quickly launch the camera.

Maintaining Nothing's signature design, the Phone (3a) will feature a transparent back. However, the Glyph interface lighting has been simplified to approximately seven lights, indicating flash, basic notifications, and charging status.

Reports suggest two models will debut: the Nothing Phone (3a) 5G and the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro 5G. Both will be available in black, though whether it's the same shade remains unconfirmed. The (3a) 5G will also come in white, while the (3a) Pro 5G adds a gray option.

Storage configurations include 8GB RAM + 128GB and 12GB RAM + 256GB for the (3a) 5G, and only 12GB RAM + 256GB for the (3a) Pro 5G.

Reports indicate Nothing will launch audio products and smartwatches in China this year, but not smartphones. A Nothing flagship store on third-party platforms already sells Nothing Ear (open), Nothing Ear (stick), CMF Buds Pro 2, CMF Buds, and Nothing Ear (a).
