This beta program is open to users of several iQOO and vivo smartphones, requiring specific system versions and registration through designated channels. Below are details regarding eligible models, system version requirements, registration process, and beta rollout schedule.

I. Eligible Models and System Version Requirements

This OriginOS 5 public beta includes several popular iQOO and vivo models:

iQOO Series:

• iQOO 9 Pro: System version must be 14.2.13.3.W10.V000L1 or later.

• iQOO 9: System version must be 14.2.13.3.W10.V000L1 or later.

• iQOO Neo6: System version must be 14.2.12.5.W10.V000L1 or later.

• iQOO Neo6 SE: System version must be 14.2.4.4.W10.V000L1 or later.

• iQOO Z8: System version must be 14.1.16.0.W10.V000L1 or later.

vivo Series:

• vivo S18 Pro: System version must be 14.0.11.6.W10.V000L1 or later.

• vivo S18: System version must be 14.0.15.13.W10.V000L1 or later.

• vivo S18e: System version must be 14.0.18.6.W10.V000L1 or later.

• vivo Y300 Pro: System version must be 14.0.11.3.W10.V000L1 or later.

Please ensure your phone's system version meets these requirements; otherwise, you will not be able to participate. You can check your system version in two ways:

1. Method 1: Go to "Settings > System Management & Updates > System Update".

2. Method 2: Go to "Settings > System Management & Updates > System Update > Top right three dots > Upgrade Preview > New Version Preview".

II. Public Beta Registration Process

After confirming your phone's system version, you can register for the OriginOS 5 public beta in two ways:

Method 1: Register via the iQOO Community Quick App

1. Upgrade System Version: Ensure your phone's system is updated to the specified version or later. Instructions: Phone Home Screen - Settings - System Update - Follow prompts to complete the update.

2. Access iQOO Community Quick App: On the iQOO Community "Quick App" section, tap "OriginOS - System Update - Beta Program - Apply - Beta Program - View Details," then follow the prompts to apply. If your phone lacks a system update section, update the Quick App to the latest version: Phone Home Screen - Settings - Apps & Permissions - System App Settings - Quick App - Check for Updates.

Method 2: Register via Phone System Settings

1. Upgrade System Version: Ensure your phone's system is updated to the specified version or later.

2. System Settings Registration: On your phone's home screen, tap "Settings - System Update - Top right settings button - Upgrade Preview - Beta Registration - View Details," then follow the prompts to apply.

III. Public Beta Rollout Schedule

The official statement indicates that the beta will be rolled out in batches based on registration order:

• March 5th, 10:30 AM: 5,000 users.

• March 7th: 50,000 users.

• March 9th: All remaining registered users.

• March 10th-14th: Users registering during this period will receive the update on the same day.
