网站描述：河北金融学院始于1952年的保定银行学校，是由中国人民银行总行直接创办的一所专门为银行培养人才的中等专业学校，后经历河北财金学校、河北银行学校等发展阶段。1984年升格为大专，即保定金融专科学校，1991年更名为保定金融高等专科学校，2000年划归河北省人民政府，实行“中央与地方共建、以地方管理为主”的管理体制。2007年3月升格为本科院校，更名为河北金融学院，是华北、西北地区唯一一所具有鲜明金融特色的中央与地方共建院校。
