网站描述：北京劳动保障职业学院是2006年4月经北京市人民政府批准设立的普通高等职业学院，隶属于北京市劳动和社会保障局。1984年筹建，1986年正式招生，其前身是北京市计划劳动管理干部学院，成立之初是一所独立设置的成人高等学校。建院二十多年来，学院大力发展高等职业教育，突出行业优势，以就业为导向，面向基层，服务社会，为首都经济建设和劳动保障事业发展培养了大量高素质技能型专门人才。从1992年起连续15年被评为“首都文明单位”和“首都文明单位标兵”，2006年获“首都文明单位标兵十连冠”荣誉称号；2005年被全国文明办授予“全国文明单位”殊荣，至今保持这个荣誉称号。
