网站描述：成都信息工程学院源于1951年中国人民解放军西南军区空军司令部在成都建立的气象干部训练大队，1954年改制为中央气象局成都气象干部学校，1956年改建为全日制中等专业学校，更名为中央气象局成都气象学校。1978年成都气象学校升格为全日制普通本科高等学校，定名为成都气象学院。1981年学院成为首批学士学位授予权单位。2000年学院划转到四川省，实行中央与地方共建、以地方管理为主的管理体制，并更名为成都信息工程学院。2001年原隶属国家统计局的四川统计学校整体并入。2003年学院成为硕士学位授予权单位。2007年获得教育部本科教学工作水平评估优秀。
