网站描述：金陵科技学院是2002年6月，经教育部和省市政府批准，由原南京市金陵职业大学和南京市农业专科学校合并组建的以培养高级应用型人才为主的全日制普通本科院校。学校建有江宁、幕府和白下三个校区，占地面积近1600亩，校舍总面积约50万平方米，馆藏图书近120万册，教学仪器设备总值约1.4亿元。学校现有全日制在校生17000多人，教职工1000余人，其中专任教师700余人，教授、副教授等高级职称教师占30%。拥有一批全国优秀教师、政府特殊津贴获得者、省级有突出贡献的中青年专家、省级教学名师和学术造诣较深的学科带头人，数十名教师被选拔为江苏省“333高层次人才培养工程”、“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人、“青蓝工程”优秀青年骨干教师等培养对象。
