网站描述：丽水学院是一所本科层次的普通高校。其前身是创建于1907年的处州师范学堂，后由处州师范学校到丽水师范学校，1977年设立浙江师范学院丽水分校，1978年经国务院批准定名为丽水师范专科学校。学校先后经历了几次合并。2000年8月，浙江省少数民族师范学校并入丽水师专。2003年3月，省政府批复同意丽水师范专科学校与丽水职业技术学院（丽水职业技术学院由丽水工业学校与丽水农业学校合并而成）合并，并以此为基础筹建本科层次的丽水学院。学校于2004年5月经教育部批准，升格更名为丽水学院。2007年3月，以丽水卫校为基础组建了丽水学院医学院。学校主要承担为丽水市和浙江省经济社会发展培养输送各类高级专门人才的任务，是浙江省文明单位和全国精神文明建设先进单位。
