网站描述：马鞍山师范高等专科学校始建于1958年，为全国先进师范院校、全国语言文字工作先进单位、省学校艺术教育工作先进单位、安徽省第五、第六、第七、第八届文明单位。历史上，我校几易校址。1971年到2003年间曾落址于马鞍山市湖东中路60号，2003年8月整体搬迁至现址——马鞍山市湖西南路369号，地处马鞍山市城南新区，占地300亩，另预留用地350亩。经教育部批准，2004年5月学校升格为马鞍山师范高等专科学校。五十余年来，学校已为国家培养培训合格人才一万多人，已形成了师范专业与非师范专业共同发展，职前教育与职后教育融为一体，全日制教育与成人高等教育统筹兼顾，自主发展与对外合作相结合的综合发展办学格局。目前，全日制在校生近7000人，专业35个。
