网站描述：学院座落在“中国优秀旅游城市” 钦州市，位于迅速发展的北部湾核心工业区，处于广西沿海的中心地带，是广西北部湾经济区唯一的一所公立普通本科高等院校。学院现有东、西两个校区，占地面积700亩。总投资2.6亿元人民币的学院扩建工程（含钦州学院海洋学院征地1000亩，学院本部扩征330亩等项目）被列为自治区2007年重点推进项目。学院使用意大利发展项目已获国家发改委批准，项目基金约为1.05亿元人民币。学院设置15个系、部、二级学院，有学生1万多人（含留学生）。办学34年来，学院在构建中国——东盟自由贸易区、北部湾经济区，特别是为钦州、北海、防城港提供人才保障、智力支持和科技开发中发挥重要作用。
