网站描述：山西中医学院是一所年轻的高等中医药院校。学校于1982年由国务院批准筹建。1986年学校接收原山西医学院中医大学班，1989年6月正式挂牌成立，同年开始接受本科生。1999年6月，学校通过了国家教育部组织的本科教学工作合格评估。2002年开始招收留学生。2004年，学校接收了原太原铁路中心医院和太原铁路结核病医院，并改建为山西中医学院中西医结合医院。2007年4月,学校以“良好”的成绩通过了教育部本科教学工作水平评估。2008年2月，学校获得了硕士单位授予权，2009年开始招收硕士研究生。学校现已成为山西省中医药教育、科研、医疗的中心。
