网站描述：沈阳体育学院的奋斗目标是建设国内一流、世界知名的体育大学。在今后5—10年里，以科学发展观为指导，实现规模、结构、质量、效益协调发展。学科专业坚持以体为主，教、管、文协调发展，专业达到15个左右；在校本科生达到7600人左右，研究生600人，留学生300人，在训各学制学生800—1000人；专任教师达到700人左右，在某些学科、运动项目上拥有国内领军的学者专家；保持竞技体育冰雪、拳击等项目优势，在未来两届奥运会、两届冬奥会上，保证有我院大学生运动员参加，并至少夺得2枚金牌。
