网站描述：邢台学院前身直隶第四初级师范学堂，始建于1910年（宣统二年），是当时成立的四所师范之一，目前是河北省唯一一所一脉单传、在原校址上不断建设延续传承发展而来的高校。1912年民国建立后，改称直隶第四初级师范学校，曾用名河北省第四师范学校、邢台师范学校等，1984年升格为邢台师范专科学校，1996年3月，与原邢台教育学院、邢台经济管理干部学校三校合并，成立邢台师范高等专科学校，2002年，经教育部批准升格为本科院校。
