At the beginning of the year, the all-new Samsung Galaxy S23 series was released, including three versions: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23Ultra. The entire series is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen2 mobile platform, and is an overclocking version of Snapdragon 8Gen2. Although it also uses TSMC's 4nm process, its main frequency reaches 3.36GHz, which is higher than the standard version's 3.2GHz. The GPU frequency is 719MHz, which is also higher than the standard version's 680MHz. And now there is the latest news, as the Snapdragon 8Gen3 chip begins to be exposed, there is also a lot of anticipation for the new generation of the Galaxy S24 series. Recently, sources have brought more details about the camera's imaging.

According to the latest information released by sources, it is basically consistent with the previously exposed information. Without any surprise, the all-new Samsung Galaxy S24 series will continue to include three versions: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24Ultra. The oversized Samsung Galaxy S24Ultra may still be equipped with two zoom cameras on the back, with 5x and 10x digital zoom functions. However, it is worth noting that this is different from the previous disclosure, as there have been reports that the machine will be upgraded to a variable zoom lens, which can provide 3x to 10x continuous optical zoom.

In other aspects, according to previously disclosed information, the all-new Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be equipped with Qualcomm's new generation flagship chip, Snapdragon 8Gen3, as standard throughout the series. It will adopt a 1+5+2 architecture design, manufactured by TSMC, and upgraded to N4P, making it the most powerful Snapdragon 5G chip to date. Compared to the current Snapdragon 8Gen2, the former will add one large core and reduce one small core, while the five large cores will be the first in Snapdragon 5GSoc history, and the super core will be upgraded to CortexX4, with a maximum frequency of 3.7GHz, a peak performance improvement of 15%, and a power consumption 40% lower than CortexX3. At the same time, CortexX4 supports up to 2M of L2 cache memory, which is only about 10% larger than CortexX3. In addition, the GPU of Snapdragon 8Gen3 has been upgraded to Adreno750.

It is reported that the all-new Snapdragon 8Gen3 is expected to make its debut at the Snapdragon Technology Summit held from October 24th to 26th, and the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will continue to be the first users of the chip. We will wait and see more detailed information.
