According to previous reports, Samsung is expected to release the OneUI6.0 update based on Android 14 by the end of this year. According to mobile China, there are already media outlets that have released a list of devices that may receive updates to Samsung OneUI6.0 in advance.
According to foreign media reports, Samsung's OneUI6.0 is planned to be launched on most Samsung smartphones later this year, specifically around August. The new OneUI6.0 will be built based on Android 14 and is expected to include all the major changes announced by Google in the Developer Preview and Beta versions, such as new gesture navigation, shared menus, and pre applied language preferences.
As expected, Samsung OneUI6.0 will be the first to be provided to the S23 series models, which means that Samsung S23, S23+, and S23Ultra will be the first to receive OneUI6.0 updates. Next are the foldable screen models, including Samsung ZFold4 and ZFlip4. Foreign media have stated that the upcoming Samsung ZFold5 and ZFlip5 are also expected to receive updates after their release in August. The next batch of updated models will be the A-series, including Samsung A73, A53, and A54, with M-series phones expected to follow closely.
It is reported that the OneUI6.0 beta version is expected to be launched in August this year, while the stable version will be updated a few weeks after the beta version is launched. Foreign media speculate that the stable version will be promoted to the S23 series around October.
