On October 19th, IT Home reported that according to feedback from many iPhone users on the MacRumors forum, Reddit community, and X (Twitter) social platform,After upgrading to iOS17.1RC version, there is still a problem of automatic shutdown at night for a period of time.

IT Home previously reported that this issue first appeared in the iOS 17.0.2 update. After actual testing, MacRumors users found that after upgrading to iOS 17.1RC, this issue has not been fixed.

Even if the iPhone is in a charged state, it will automatically shut down at night, and users will wake up to see the iPhone password screen page.

This issue is not an exception. The iPhone 15 ProMax used by the media editor will automatically shut down for a period of time during the night without enabling battery optimization and using MagSafe for overnight charging.

IT Home previously reported that iOS17.1 mainly improved the screen burning mechanism of the iPhone 15 model through software and fixed the issue of "possible image residue".

The iOS 17.1 update also improves screen usage time synchronization issues. Screen usage time is a feature that allows parents to remotely manage their children's devices, such as limiting device usage during certain time periods, setting time limits for applications, and blocking inappropriate content. However, some parents complain that the screen usage time setting sometimes resets or cannot be synchronized on all devices within the home sharing group.
