Fast Technology, October 1st: Digital blogger "Digital Chat Station" has revealed details about the Xiaomi 15 Pro's imaging capabilities. Compared to its predecessor, the 14 Pro, one of the most significant changes in the 15 Pro is the return of the periscope telephoto lens. This device will feature a 50MP Sony IMX8 series periscope lens with a 1/2.51-inch sensor size, supporting 5x optical zoom and OIS (optical image stabilization).

Beyond hardware upgrades, the Xiaomi 15 Pro's periscope telephoto lens also supports AI super resolution. Leveraging XiaomiAISP, Xiaomi has created a super-telephoto function using an AI on-device large model. In ultra-high magnification telephoto shooting, the periscope telephoto lens can automatically invoke the AI large model to perform high-precision re-rendering of the original optical data, leading to a significant improvement in image clarity.

For the main camera, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a 50MP OmniVision OV50K sensor. Based on TheiaCel technology, the OV50K image sensor boasts a 1.2m pixel size and a 1/1.3-inch optical format, offering high gain and correlated multiple sampling (CMS) capabilities, delivering optimal performance in low-light conditions. Additionally, the OV50K supports 4-in-1 pixel binning, resulting in 12.5MP pixels and enabling 120FPS and 60FPS HDR, with 4 times the light sensitivity, achieving flagship-level low-light performance.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a Leica Summilux lens. This new optical system will empower the mobile device with ultra-strong, instant, accurate capture capabilities across all timeframes and scenarios.

In terms of core configurations, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a 2K all-equal-depth micro-curved screen, a metal right-angle edge design for the middle frame, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a battery capacity exceeding 6000mAh.
