Lu Weibing, Partner and President of Xiaomi Group, recently stated that Xiaomi designed the MIXFlip with male users in mind. Therefore, in terms of performance and battery life, the goal was to achieve the standard of a flagship straight-screen phone.
This statement came after Xiaomi's Q2 2024 financial report. Lu Weibing previously said that Xiaomi's first small foldable phone, the MIXFlip, has been a "complete sellout" and still has a lengthy delivery cycle. He also revealed that among MIXFlip buyers, 32% switched from iPhones, with women accounting for 55% of the buyers.
The Xiaomi MIXFlip was released on July 19th, focusing on being lightweight and portable. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 4780mAh Xiaomi Golden Sands River battery, and supports 67W fast charging. The price starts at 5999 yuan.
