On September 6th at IFA 2024 in Berlin, Germany, Honor CEO Zhao Ming announced the industry's first open ecosystem intelligent agent - AIAgent, and declared that the next generation flagship Magic7 series will be the first to feature HONOR AIAgent. During a post-show interview, media inquired about the release schedule for the Magic7 series, and whether it was planned to debut at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. Zhao Ming responded that the Magic7 is already in full swing in the research and development process.
Qualcomm has previously announced that they plan to hold the Snapdragon Summit in Maui, Hawaii from October 21st to 23rd, 2024, where they are expected to unveil the new flagship processor - Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. According to some industry insiders, following previous patterns, the Honor Magic7 series is highly likely to debut at this summit, and its release date could be significantly earlier than the previous generation, potentially being the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip.
Regarding the details of the Honor Magic7 series, based on previous leaks, the standard version of the Honor Magic7 is expected to feature a custom high-specification 1.5K display and a large capacity silicon-based battery. The inclusion of the latest flagship processor is also a major highlight for the phone itself.
It's worth noting that early this morning, Jiang Hairong, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd. China, shared a demonstration video of the Magic7 series on his Weibo account. This video showcased the front design of the new phone for the first time. It appears from the video that this new device is likely the Honor Magic7 Pro, featuring a centered pill-shaped camera cutout, deep four-curved screen, right-angle metal frame, and a prominent red power button design.
In this demonstration of the Magic7 series, Jiang Hairong also specifically showcased the "One-Sentence Unsubscribe" function. Soon, the Honor Magic7 series will be the global first to feature HONOR AIAgent, making it the first Android phone with AIAgent.
