Apple Inc. recently secured a major victory in a patent lawsuit filed by IdentitySecurity LLC, a company often referred to as a "patent troll." A jury in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas ruled that Apple's SecureEnclave design did not infringe on IdentitySecurity LLC's patents, dismissing the plaintiff's claim for over $360 million (approximately 2.54 billion yuan) in damages.

SecureEnclave is a dedicated secure subsystem integrated into Apple's system-on-chip design, designed to protect users' sensitive data, including biometric data like TouchID and FaceID. This technology, first introduced on the iPhone 5S in 2013, has become a crucial component of Apple product security.
