iQOO 13 is Coming Soon: Global Debut of BOE's Q10 Emissive Material, the King of Smooth Performance
At the 2024 vivo Developer Conference, the iQOO 13's screen made its debut, attracting a lot of attention. Equipped with the world's first BOE's latest Q10 emissive material, the screen achieves "comprehensive breakthroughs" in brightness, color, power consumption, and lifespan. According to the official statement, the screen's peak brightness has increased by 12.5%, color deviation has been reduced by more than 50%, lifespan has improved by 33%, ghosting has been reduced by 15%, and power consumption has decreased by 10%.
Beyond the stunning screen performance, the iQOO 13 will also be among the first to feature the OriginOS 5 operating system and is dubbed the "King of Smooth Performance." The new phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor and a self-developed Q2 gaming chip, equipped with a single-layer motherboard and a new cooling architecture, supplemented by a VC cooling plate, ensuring powerful performance release.
In terms of design, the iQOO 13 is expected to feature a straight screen + narrow bezel + metal middle frame design, with an overall style similar to the previously showcased OriginOS visual model. The phone will also feature single-point ultrasonic fingerprint, USB 3.X interface, IP68 dust and water resistance, and a large-size X-axis motor. The iQOO 13 is the thinnest in the flagship series history, with a straight-edge, large-radius middle frame. The front camera cutout size has been optimized, and it comes equipped with large-size symmetrical dual speakers.
Regarding imaging, the iQOO 13 will feature the same main camera and wide-angle lens as the flagship vivo models, as well as the same telephoto portrait lens as the foldable model. It will also have the same algorithm and tuning as the flagship vivo models. In terms of battery, the iQOO 13 is expected to be equipped with a 6100-6150mAh battery, supporting 120W private protocol fast charging and 100W PPS public version fast charging, and supports bypass charging and high-power screen-on fast charging.
The iQOO 13 boasts a powerful overall configuration. The world's first BOE Q10 emissive material screen is impressive, while the OriginOS 5 operating system, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, self-developed Q2 gaming chip, and powerful imaging system will deliver an outstanding user experience for the phone. iQOO officials have announced that the iQOO 13 will officially launch at the end of October. Let's wait and see.
