vivo has announced that the X200 series will be the first in the world to feature the ZEISS Master Color Display, making it the first phone to achieve this certification. Han Boshou, Vice President of Product Strategy at vivo, stated that the vivo X200 series strives for true and accurate color representation in display, boasting a clear and eco-level color management across all scenarios. This is attributed to vivo's full-chain ZEISS natural color technology.
The vivo X200 series unifies the color gamut mapping for different external sources and internal UI, achieving true color reproduction for all screen display content. This technology accurately replicates real image effects onto the screen display, creating a closed-loop experience of ZEISS natural color throughout the imaging process, from shooting previews, post-selection, editing, to screen display.
The biggest highlight of the ZEISS Master Color display is its ability to deliver near-perfect accurate colors. During calibration, it utilizes the color matching function CMF2015, which better aligns with human eye physiology, and achieves a color accuracy index of 0.27, ultimately earning the ZEISS Natural Display certification.
Beyond the breakthrough in color display, the vivo X200 series also achieves industry-leading eye protection. It supports 2160Hz full-brightness high-frequency PWM dimming, ensuring a flicker-free experience regardless of ambient brightness changes through a consistent 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming strategy. Compared to other 8TLTPO models, the eye protection solution on the vivo X200 series boasts "full-brightness high-frequency PWM dimming," featuring the lowest flicker index without impacting the advantages of LTPO and minimal influence on display effects. Han Boshou noted that this can be considered an ultimate anti-flicker solution.
