As reported by IT Home, users can find the "theft protection features" under System Settings - Google Account - Services list in Android 15. These features consist of three key components: "Smart Theft Detection," "Offline Device Lock," and "Remote Lock."

"Smart Theft Detection" claims to intelligently detect if a user's phone has been stolen. It automatically locks the device if it determines the phone is stolen. This function analyzes user behavior patterns and location data to judge if the phone is stolen. For example, if the phone suddenly appears in an unfamiliar location, or if the phone remains unused for several days, it may be considered stolen.

"Offline Device Lock" automatically locks the device if it cannot access Google Play Services for a period of time. This feature prevents the phone from being misused by others even if it is not connected to the internet; it can lock the device through Google Play Services.

"Remote Lock" is similar to Apple's Find My feature, allowing users to remotely lock their phone. This functionality helps users lock their device if it is lost or stolen, preventing others from accessing data on the phone.
