This article shares my personal experience updating my OPPO Find X7 Ultra to ColorOS 15, and discusses the pros and cons of the new system.

AI Feature Upgrade: The Evolution of Xiaobu Assistant

The most significant highlight of ColorOS 15 is the comprehensive upgrade of its AI features, with the "One-click Ask Screen" feature of Xiaobu Assistant standing out. For instance, while reading long articles, simply wake up Xiaobu Assistant and say "Summarize the article," and you can quickly get the core content of the article. This undoubtedly enhances users' efficiency in extracting and processing information, truly showcasing the convenience of AI technology.

Smooth Experience, But Details Still Need Optimization

After updating to ColorOS 15, the overall system fluency has noticeably improved, and the animation effects are more natural. The design of the Control Center has also been adjusted, supporting text cancellation for better clarity. However, I have also found some minor issues:

• The Control Center design seems to borrow from other manufacturers' styles.

• The battery icon in the status bar is slightly out of place compared to other icons and needs further optimization.

• Battery life declined on the first day after the update, but recovered on the second day.

Feature-Rich, But UI Lacks Surprise

ColorOS 15 has added many new features, including wallpapers, AI crowd removal, etc., but overall, the UI interface hasn't changed much and doesn't feel particularly exciting. Considering that major phone manufacturers currently prioritize stability, ColorOS 15 might be focusing on functional changes while maintaining stability.

Overall, ColorOS 15 offers significant value with its updates, making the system smarter and more convenient with new features and AI capabilities. While there are areas of detail that need refinement, I believe that ColorOS 15 will offer users a more complete experience with the release of the official version.
