Research firm TrendForce has stated that this Indian company will receive a small portion of the production of iPhone15 and 15Plus. It will only assemble 5% of the orders for these two models. Foxconn and Lexus Precision will assemble 70% and 25% standard models respectively. Li Xun Precision and H&S are said to have received 60% and 35% assembly orders for the Plus model, respectively.
TrendForce said that according to Apple's model, new suppliers receive fewer orders for entry-level models. This may be a pilot measure, and if everything goes smoothly, TataGroup may achieve a higher proportion in iPhone manufacturing next year.
India is the world's second largest smartphone market, and since 2017, Apple has been increasing its manufacturing efforts.
