IT Home, August 18 - According to Gizmochina, a new ASUS phone with model number ASUSAI2501H has been spotted in the IMEI database, which is expected to be the ASUS Zenfone 12Ultra, and could be launched in 2025.
The device is expected to be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor that will be featured in the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series, and will come with at least 12GB of RAM. Previously, IT Home has reported that the ASUS ROG Phone 9/Pro will be named "ASUSAI2501C" and will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor, which is expected to be released this year. This gaming phone will feature optimized cooling systems and AirTriggers (trigger buttons) to enhance user experience.
Currently, there is no further information released about the ASUS Zenfone 12Ultra and ROG 9 series. As a reference, the ASUS Zenfone 11Ultra and ROG 8 series were released in March and January this year, respectively, both featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, a 5500mAh battery, and support for 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
